Vote on How to Spend $250,000 to Improve Long Beach's 9th District!


From May 7-14, if you're 14 years of age or older and live in District 9, YOU can VOTE on how to spend $250,000 of Councilmember Rex Richardson’s discretionary funds. Projects on the ballot include park improvements, safety upgrades, community art, and more.

On May 7 at Houghton Park, come learn about the projects on the ballot, cast your vote, and enjoy free food, music, and activities for kids!

Participatory Budgeting (PB) is an exciting democratic process that gives local residents the power to directly decide how to spend city funds. You do not need to be a registered voter or US citizen to participate.
