3rd Annual 9th District Spring Cleaning Challenge Results!

This year's Neighborhood Challenge  winner  is the Hamilton Neighborhood Association, who collectively reported a total of 79 issues ranging from graffiti, dumped items, potholes, and more. This neighborhood is awarded a $500 neighborhood improvement grant.

Leading the charge for the Hamilton Neighborhood Association, a community leader, Kirk Davis reported the most items at 45 reports, followed by Starr King Neighborhood Association President Jimmy Murray with 28 reports. Third place goes to Ramona Neighborhood Association President James McWhorter.

This year, a total of 284 items were reported, by using GO Long Beach, visiting www.insidedistrict9.com, and by calling or e-mailing the 9th District Council office.

We commend all those who participated in this year's Spring Cleaning Challenge. We will continue to work to ensure that city staff follows up on each and every maintenance issue submitted.

Please,  join me in congratulating our winners, and have a look at the charts below for details of this year's spring cleaning challenge.
